This training is both a crash course into laughter yoga as well as an advanced training for all seasoned laughter yoga practitioners. Here is why:

We have been practicing and teaching Laughter Yoga full time in North America since 2005 and have constantly strived to refine and improve the way we have led laughter sessions. Experience / Qualifications Required
No sense of humor or yoga experience is necessary. All can attend regardless
of their level of physical fitness (if you are in doubt do ask your physician).
We greatly appreciate if you can let us know ahead of time about any health
challenge you may be facing. Laughing remains optional throughout this
training and there is nothing you have to do if you choose not to participate
in the group activities. If in doubt please contact

How You Will Be Assessed
There is no formal assessment for this training, and we've never had
anybody refuse to practice and refine their skills. There are several
practice sessions both on day one and day two where each participant is
asked to explain to the group in their own words what Laughter Yoga is
and how it works, what the benefits of laughter are, what happens in a
laughter session and what its 5 essential reminders are. Each person is
also asked to lead a group in several laughter, breathing and clapping
exercises, as well as create their own laughter exercise.

A Certified Laughter Yoga Leader Diploma. This certification
is for life. You will not need to pay us any fee to maintain it
every year. We are affiliated with the Dr Kataria School Of Laughter Yoga. This certification officially welcomes you into the international Laughter Yoga family.

Flexible And Empowering Beyond Your Wildest Dreams
Even though you will learn in this training a standardized and structured
program of light laughter exercise, how you apply it is up to you. This
is where our training becomes hugely different from others. Regular practice
of this method will develop your creativity to levels you may not believe
you had in you. You get to bypass
the learning curve at the speed of light!
Note that Laughter Yoga can be learned and delivered entirely as chair
exercises. Adaptations have been successful in bringing Laughter Yoga
to those with mobility, visual, hearing, and cognitive limitations. We
have trained Certified Laughter Yoga Leaders with hearing and also some
with visual impairments. Some had cardio-pulmonary conditions. All still
greatly benefit and enjoy this program. We have even heard very touching
stories where people used Laughter Yoga with their loved ones until their
very last days on Earth.
Complete Freedom
When you complete the training, you are independent in how or even if
you organize as a business. This training gives you a foundation for systematic,
repeatable, appealing and desirable laughter-related programs with healthy
values, that leave plenty of room for your personality to shine through
with your own creative expression. As such many Certified Laughter Yoga
Leaders practice their newly acquired skills or add to their existing
abilities as paid speakers, class instructors, seminar leaders, or provide
other health-related services that are significantly enhanced with Laughter
Yoga. But, there is no financial connection to the American School Of
Laughter Yoga nor to the Dr. Kataria School Of Laughter Yoga. When you
generate revenue with your laughter programs, it is all yours.
This Certification Is For Life, Not 1 Year

The
"Certified Laughter Yoga Leader" diploma (trademark of Dr Kataria
School Of Laughter Yoga and only official Laughter Yoga certification)
will be handed out to graduates upon completion of the workshop. You may
then acknowledge your affiliation to both the Dr. Kataria's School Of Laughter
Yoga and the American School of Laughter Yoga, and use our
affiliate logos online and in print material:
